Coco Beach

This beach is magnificent; I prefer it to the Bay of Angels. You go down into the sea using ladders, and you sometimes have to watch out for seaweed. This spot also offers views of the beautiful villas in the Mont du Baron district, which are practically castles. You're also not far from the Lazaret cave, a must-see, and you can also visit the diving board, which has a very expensive menu, but is an incredible place. You'll see cormorants circling around the large central pillar.

Coco Beach is a beautiful spot on the coast of Nice, especially for a sunset walk. We parked along Boulevard Franck Pilatte and walked along the Sentier du Littoral, also known as the Sentier du Cap de Nice, which offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean and the coastline. The beach itself is rocky rather than sandy, with plenty of people sitting on the rocks and enjoying the water. The rocks can be quite sharp, so bring something to sit on and wear appropriate shoes. We went toward the end of the day and it was still fairly busy, so I imagine it gets quite crowded during the day. Still, the clear blue water, dramatic coastline, and beautiful views make Coco Beach a lovely place to visit, especially if you combine it with the coastal walk
