Les Mots à la Bouche is Paris's oldest gay bookshop, founded in 1980. After more than 36 years in the Marais it moved east, and since February 2020 it has been at 37 rue Saint-Ambroise in the 11th, with 80 m² of French and English queer fiction, essays, history, art books and magazines on the ground floor and a 50 m² basement for exhibitions and events. Open seven days a week, 11:00–20:00. Métro Rue Saint-Maur or Saint-Ambroise.
