Provocateur Hotel

The hotel was located in a convenient location - not in the direct city center, but close the the Ubahn, stores, and restaurants. Rooms were decent, but some age showing - cigarette burns on headboard of the bed, and some wear and tear. Cleaning staff was inconsistent, sometimes not restocking coffee, or water, bathmats, or towels. Hotel does also not have a direct affiliation with Marriott Bonvoy - reserved through the app, but they did not honor status, and guests are required to send invoices to Marriott to get credit for the stay. Billing receipt was not provided on checkout, and when contacted, the hotel sent an incorrect bill - reserved for 230 a night, but nights varied on the receipt from 320+ to 189+ depending on the night of the week. All in all, would not recommend for business travel if you want a Marriott executive level stay.

If you're looking for a special atmosphere, this is the place for you. I also found the hotel's smell very pleasant.

Beautiful property however the regular guest rooms are much too small if you are staying g for more than one night. The bar and breakfast are fantastic! Easy access to the train system. Good place overall.

I booked a six night stay at this hotel because it was part of Marriott. Despite this, over a week after checking out, I have not received points or credit for the nights. The bar, which is one of the attractions of the hotel, was closed the first two nights. When we arrived around 13:30, the hotel insisted on charging €20 for an early check-in. This is completely ridiculous, considering the room was already available. It’s the first time this has happened to me in many years of travel. Other than that, the hotel is in a convenient location, and, while part of Marriott, it is definitely not your typical corporate property. It is very quirky and interesting, and the pictures on the website do it justice. If you’re into the 1920s bordello look, this is the place for you! Breakfast was served at a small buffet, which was quite decent. Definitely it would’ve been convenient to have it available an hour earlier.

We were there last December; beautiful atmosphere, well located. Helpful, friendly staff. We would gladly stay there again.

Tight room.No counterspace. Breakfast was poor expecially for diet or some allergies. Expected more 'cos of 4 stars.
