Café Kuchenkultur is a cake shop and café on Großbeerenstraße in Kreuzberg. It's a gay-friendly mainstream café, not a gay venue. The business was started in 2011 by two Lebanese brothers, and the counter usually holds around a dozen homemade cakes: nut, fruit, cream, chocolate, coconut. It's a daytime place, open every day from 10:00 to 18:00, so come for coffee and a slice in the afternoon rather than in the evening. A second branch on Goltzstraße in Schöneberg has since closed.

Very nice service…very friendly and accommodating. Espresso rather mediocre…very watery and bitter. The men's restroom was practically unusable…the toilet paper by the toilet bowl was empty, but there was a damp roll by the sink (for drying hands?)…and this at lunchtime…yuck! The cleaning staff should also take a look at the electrical outlets in the room itself…very dirty. No…one automatically wonders what the kitchen is like!
