Outstanding food at very reasonable prices, with good service and in a stylish atmosphere. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We come from Münster in Westphalia and were in Leipzig to help our daughter, who is studying veterinary medicine there, move house with our son. We had reserved a table for the four of us at Goldberg for Friday evening – and that was a really good decision. We eat out frequently and enjoy it very much, and we're willing to spend a bit more for good food. That's why Goldberg impressed us so much. The food was consistently excellent, of very high quality, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. I have to especially highlight the beef tartare: it was actually the best beef tartare I've ever had. I would come back just for that. The other dishes were also excellent, as was the Chardonnay from Languedoc. The service was friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed. The value for money is truly perfect for this quality. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and definitely five stars from us. If we're ever in Leipzig again, we'll gladly come back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and absolutely don't regret eating there. The service was very friendly, attentive, and not at all intrusive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio was excellent and good; not cheap, but definitely at the right price (it's something quite different from a fast-food joint 😉). We certainly don't regret not getting a table at Auerbachs Keller and "finding" Restaurant Goldberg instead! Tip: Make a reservation! If we come back to Leipzig, we'll definitely eat there again.

We had a truly fantastic evening at Goldberg yesterday. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, the team incredibly warm and attentive – and the food was absolutely divine. Even the celery and apple soup and the umami butterfish as starters were perfectly cooked. The main courses continued in the same fantastic vein: The duck breast was melt-in-your-mouth tender with wonderful accompaniments, and the calf's liver was cooked to perfection. We were actually quite content (and completely full) after that, but you simply can't resist the plum crumble tart and the ice cream of the month – thankfully, because the dessert was the absolute icing on the cake. A chilled auburn beer to go with it – a more relaxing end to the evening couldn't be imagined. Many thanks to the kitchen and the excellent service. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back very soon!

A truly perfect wedding anniversary dinner at Restaurant Goldberg! We became aware of Restaurant Goldberg through the many positive reviews – and what can I say? We were absolutely not disappointed! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and had a wonderful evening. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm. The food was consistently excellent – ​​a highlight both in terms of taste and presentation. All of this comes at a truly outstanding price-performance ratio. The entire package was simply perfect from start to finish. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful evening, which will remain a cherished memory for a very long time. If we are ever in Leipzig again, we will definitely be back!
