Queeres Zentrum Mannheim

The Queeres Zentrum Mannheim (QZM) at G7 14 is the queer community centre for Mannheim and the Rhein-Neckar region. It's a nonprofit association with city funding, and it describes itself as barrier-reduced and anti-racist. It runs a volunteer café-bar, open Thursday to Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00, and is the easiest place in town to meet locals without going to a club. The programme changes weekly: a Puppy Stammtisch on Thursdays, game nights, book clubs, life drawing, TINA* and trans self-help groups, a lesbian-gay history workshop and the Monnem Pride planning meetings. Check qzm-rn.de for the current calendar.
