The ambiance, service, and food were all wonderful.

We had an incredibly delicious meal; the dishes were truly top-notch, high quality. Everything was tasty. A solid 10 from the Netherlands. We came all the way from the Netherlands especially to eat here. Thank you all very much.

This is a white table cloths, elegant, fine dining experience. The atmosphere reflects that, however, the staff, their friendliness and openness make the evening. The service was impeccable. We dined here yesterday evening - us as a couple and our 12 year old son. Our 12 year old was treated with so much respect and accommodated alongside our adult meals and truly made to feel welcome. Our son said it was the best part of his holiday! To the food - it was fantastic. We had a la carte and the menu was creative and delicious. We all ordered different pasta starters - all delicious and I had the pigeon and the boys the beef fillet which was very locally sourced. The wine too was local and didn't break the bank. All in all, highly recommended for a special meal in Bologna.

The first time we went, we couldn't get a table so we had cocktails while the friendly staff tried to fit us in on another night, we explained that it was our wedding anniversary so they did everything possible to find us a table the following night. What a great experience we had, such a beautiful place, a romantic ambience and the food was sensational, served by a great team. We even received a special anniversary dessert. We loved the whole experience so much we had a photo taken with the staff to remember this special occassion.

This is an amazing place. In my humble opinion for sure a one Michelin star restaurant. To start with a warm welcome and a choice of a water menu. That is not often seen, but very nice to be able to pick the kind of sparkling water. A very friendly waiter gave us a choice of the al acarte or the set menu. We went for the traditional set menu. What ende up as a great choice. Wine list was comprehensive and the somelier gave a brilliant local suggestion. I subsequently noticed that also the wine menu was really good. Without going through the menu in detail, this was simply amazing. Some great imagination into traditional courses for the area and a fantastic service. Actually, even though the restaurant was full, we did not experience any shortcomings in service, quite the opposite. Really good attention from all, never ran out of water or wine and servings came with a natural flow. This was really a highly recommended experience at a very reasonable price. I have to stress - do it. In any way this is a great place.

I wish I could do 10 stars!! Wow! My husband and I came here to celebrate his 30th birthday. It was so yummy and the staff was fabulous. Also the tables were very comfortable and made the vibe fantastic. Highly recommend the tasting menu! It was sooo filling and delicious

Everything about the dinner experience is exquisite. Was surprised they don't have Michelin Star yet for the quality, freshness, creativity, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant.

Our best gastronomic experience in Bologna. Delicious dishes with a delightful presentation. Congratulations to chef Agostino Schettino and his team! In addition, the impeccable service provided by Mr. Daniele, the waiter who served us with such care. The ambiance is rich, with beautiful decoration and references to the Carracci brothers (16th century) in the ceiling paintings. Note: start with a Franciacorta Bellavista prosecco and don't forget to try the famous local liqueur, Amaro Montenegro. And in between, enjoy yourself!

Just to correct some of the misstatements in these reviews: I Caracci does not hold a Michelin star. It is in the Michelin guide for product quality and pleasant experience but does not have a star. I agree with that assessment. The room is magnificent and the service friendly and impeccable. The concept, updated Bolognese classics, is imaginative and worthy. Unfortunately, the end result of some of this creativity is not star worthy. The mortadella pate is an interesting idea but is just too too rich after the first bite. The liquid Parmesan is innovative but not something enjoyable to eat. The expanding wet towel that they have to warn you not to eat is a bit of cringy and unnecessary theater. None of this is to imply you should skip I Carracci. It is a lovely experience at a fair price with nice people. Please enjoy.

The best meal I had in Bologna, that's saying something. The wine list is extensive. The dining room is a masterpiece. The staff is lovely and offered great service. We loved our meal.

But what truly made this evening unforgettable was the quality of the service. The entire team was remarkably kind, professional, and attentive.
