Osteria dei Grifoni

An institution! Year after year, under new management or not, it remains one of my favorite places in Bologna. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is authentic and very pleasant. The owner is very talented, and the food, above all, is delicious. You can't miss it; I come here at least once a week and am NEVER disappointed.

The bathroom was extremely dirty at the start of service. Very little choice on the blackboard because there's no menu... They only have a few appetizers, including crostini, and three first courses! Tagliatelle for four people served in a plastic bowl that we had to portion ourselves, cold, loose, and with very little ragù! We left them and weren't even asked why! Little effort, no passion! Better to change careers!

We had a lovely time there. We tried different dishes and were happy with the service, quality of the food and the prices.

Service was really nice, had a great time. Food was amazing. 10/10 would come back any time

Excellent food! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A big thank you to the chef for taking the time to explain the dishes to us. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming; they made us feel right at home! I highly recommend it!

The antipasti platter is delicious and generous! Perfect for big appetites! Giovanni is very pleasant and kind; the place is lovely and intimate, but it can fill up quickly.

We arrived a bit late for the evening, but received a warm welcome. The food was served quickly and was incredibly delicious (Testaroli)! The Osteria is run by two very friendly young men. We highly recommend it.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience true Italian flavor and hospitality. We felt very well taken care of by both the friendly waiter and the chefs. It has a family atmosphere, a short menu that changes daily, and delicious flavors. It's a wonderful, unassuming place.
