Kaiseki Malta: A must-visit for food lovers There are restaurants that simply offer good food, and others that manage to transform a dinner into a memorable experience. Kaiseki Malta undoubtedly belongs to the latter category. We had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary here, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The culinary offerings surprised us with the quality of the ingredients, the delicacy of the preparations, and truly impeccable execution. Each dish is meticulously crafted and demonstrates a cuisine with personality, technique, and a deep respect for the ingredients. It's no surprise that the restaurant is featured in the Michelin Guide. This is evident throughout the entire experience: from the cuisine to the service, including the presentation and the attention to every detail. Furthermore, they made a lovely gesture for our anniversary, offering us a complimentary glass of cava. It may seem like a small detail, but it is precisely these gestures that elevate an experience from good to truly special. Special mention must be made of the excellent value for money, which we found to be a 10 out of 10. Finding this level of gastronomy, this quality, and this attention to detail in a restaurant of this kind, while maintaining a balanced menu, is truly remarkable. Kaiseki is not simply a restaurant to go to for a meal; it's an experience worth having. Both Spaniards and visitors from all over the world should include it among their must-visit stops when visiting Malta. A culinary destination that deserves to be discovered, enjoyed, and, above all, returned to. Congratulations to the entire team. We will be back.

Really glad we booked this, the food was excellent. The dumplings were absolutely fantastic, we had the shrimp with the veal and truffle, both of which were excellent. We then had the fish of the day - sea bass - and rabbit ravioli, and again very happy with both dishes. Would certainly visit again, and recommend

Exciting and delicious food.

We liked the spot a lot. Attentive service, good cocktails, interesting tasty food and large portions. The place made an overall quality impression.

The food was amazing! Great different options and twists to Asian cuisine. One suggestion would be to add some lighter options as all dishes are quite rich and heavy. But overall amazing food and service! Would highly recommend!

Delicious! Had the duck breast

I would like to leave an honest review, especially because this restaurant has such a high rating and a Michelin recommendation. Perhaps we were simply unlucky and visited at a less successful moment. Let me start with the positive. We had heard a lot about the bread and the snacks, and they really were excellent. The bread with butter was very good, and all the snacks we ordered (four or five in total) were delicious. Some of them had rather unusual combinations of flavours and textures, but everything was genuinely tasty. The cocktails were also said by our group to be excellent and very well made. Unfortunately, the service and the main courses spoiled the overall impression. First, the food took a very long time to arrive. The service was also rather strange. The staff were clearly trying to be friendly and attentive, but there was a constant feeling of rushing around and confusion. At the same time, when we were asked the standard question, “Did you enjoy everything?”, there was no real reaction to our answer, even though we explained quite clearly and in some detail what had gone wrong. As for the main courses, we ordered duck, fish, and meat with rice. Unfortunately, we could not finish either the duck or the fish because both were extremely salty. And this was not an issue with just one dish: there were two duck dishes at our table, and both were very close to being inedible because of the amount of salt. The fish was also far too salty, so in the end we simply could not finish either dish. The meat was interesting, but that is probably the most I can say about it. Perhaps our expectations were simply too high after reading so many positive reviews and seeing the Michelin recommendation. However, unfortunately, the problems with the service and the quality of the main courses significantly affected our overall experience and left us disappointed with the evening.
