Casal Lambda is an LGBTQ+ community centre and association founded in Barcelona in 1976, during the transition to democracy after Franco. It is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ organisations in Spain. Its centre on Carrer de Verdaguer i Callís in Sant Pere, near the Palau de la Música, houses a library and archive, and it runs support services, youth groups and cultural activities. Office hours are weekdays from 10:00 to 20:00. Visitors interested in the history of the Catalan LGBTQ+ movement can contact them about the archive or check their site for talks and events. It is a community space, not a bar or social club.

I had 15 days to request legal advice, and the day before, I received an email saying they couldn't assist me and that it would have to be online, even though I was standing right outside the community center. Very poor service, especially after I told them it was urgent.
