Pavoneo is an LGBTQ bar on Barrenkale in Bilbao's Casco Viejo, one of the Siete Calles of the old town, near the river. It is a dedicated queer bar, not a general bar that happens to welcome gay customers, as older listings claimed. It holds a 4.7 Google rating from about 100 reviews. The old town is where most of Bilbao's evening drinking happens, with pintxos bars all around, so Pavoneo fits easily into a night of bar-hopping.
