Rooftop: nice staff, but the bar is absolutely awful! Virgin mary is tomato juice! I asked if I could have the ingredients to adjust it, he gave me white vinegar as if I were begging him for charity! Avoid at all costs!!!!
I was not staying at the hotel but it was a regular daily stop for breakfast and for an afternoon coffee after shopping. Beautiful location. Attentive staff. Especially the Italian one.
I’ll keep my review short and concise: avoid this place at all costs. * Claustrophobic rooms with stickers on the windows that don’t let you look outside. * Rude overnight staff that treat paying guests like garbage. * Questionable guests roaming around. * AC that barely works. * If you need something in the middle of the night, forget about calling the reception. There’s no housekeeping overnight, and apparently a single staff member covering the entire hotel who is barely even at the front desk. * And the management is equally unhelpful. Raise a concern and you’ll receive what reads like a generic ChatGPT-generated response: plenty of polished words, absolutely no sincere attempt to solve the problem. Your concerns are simply brushed aside as they seem far more interested in keeping your money than taking accountability for their shortcomings (and I can already predict the response to this review, something along the lines of: “We provided an appropriate solution within the options available to us.” - a stay at some future date. But here’s the problem: after being treated like garbage the first time, why on earth would I want to set foot in this hotel again?) Never in my life have I encountered this level of treatment at a five-star hotel, or frankly at a hotel with even fewer stars. How this hotel managed to earn, and retain, 5 stars is a total mystery (and misery) to me.
From the location, to the accommodating staff and the gorgeous rooms …. We could not recommend experimental enough. They paid attention to the little things, made our lives feel very easy and were eager to please us.
We were not hotel guests, but visited the rooftop terrace several times in the evening. What was planned as a one-time, spontaneous detour became our daily "ritual." Great view and wonderful ambiance at sunset! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was of high quality and delicious at fair prices. During our next Ibiza vacation, it will definitely be a fixed point again!
The café service was poor and not recommended.
Fabulous hotel and well located , you can hear noise from the streets late at night but it did not keep us awake, however we went out of season. Staff and service were fantastic and I loved the breakfast on the terrace. We loved it so much we have booked for next year
Just had sangria with friends and aperol spritz. Unfortunately very little fruit in the sangria, also the aperol was moderate.
We had a problem with our flight to Barcelona so we were left with no choice but to look for express accommodation late at night on a Sunday. So we were able to stay in this amazing hotel, we were very kindly attended by a man named Maximilian and managed all our requests with a patience of saint. Since we go a little nervous and tired because of the whole situation at the airport. We have been very happy with the service and attention given as well as the reasonably priced rooms, I recommend going to sleep here, very luxurious and comfortable comfortable rooms with all kinds of details. In fact, we may be back next time, plus we've realized that dogs can come in, and we have a pet so if we bring her we'll come safely to this hotel!
I stayed at this hotel as a last minute booking after a flight cancellation on a Thursday night in February. It's in a great location right in the centre of Ibiza town. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and check in was fast and easy. I paid to upgrade to a 2nd floor room on the Vara de Rey side of the hotel. The room was beautiful, with two sets of french windows opening onto balconies overlooking the Vara de Ray. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. As it was February there wasn't much noise from the pedestrian area in the evening, although I know in the summer this area can be very busy until quite late at night. I would have given it 5* had it not been for the following:- 1) It's not possible to go out onto the balconies as there are bars across the doors. I realise this is a safety measure, however it also prohibits enjoying the french windows open in the afternoon/evening as the room would likely fill up with mosquitos! I'd have sat on the balcony in the evening with the doors closed behind me if that had been a possibility. 2) From around 7 am there were numerous service trucks, bin-collecting vehicles, teams with leaf blowers and high pressure water jets working out in the street at the front of the hotel and along the Vara de Rey right below the (closed) french windows. The team of workers were shouting back and forth to each other without the slightest consideration for sleeping hotel guests. This went on until 8.30. I asked at check-out if this happens every Friday morning, and the response was that it happens every day! So best to consider this when thinking of paying for an expensive upgrade to one of these rooms, as my opinion of the value of the upgrade changed during that 1.5 hours between 7.00 and 8.30 am.
