Prima's Bar is an LGBTQ+ bar at Calle de la Libertad 28 in Chueca, Madrid's gay district. It's best known for drag shows in a small room, and on show nights the crowd stands close to the performers. It's an amazing place for pre-drinks and a party. The drinks are excellent for the price; you have to ask for ice because they're strong. The bathrooms are clean, which is important for us girls. Highly recommended for starting the night and then for after-partying.

The first thing to know is that the old Prima's (run by really nice people) is nothing like the current, outlaw Prima's. Yesterday I had a terrible experience with their incredibly unpleasant doorman. He answered me in a rude and inappropriate way for a simple question, but hey, he lost €150 in one go, since there were 15 of us trying to get in and we all left. I absolutely do not recommend it. The place next door is much better; they have staff who worked at the old Prima's and they'll treat you wonderfully. Keep that in mind.
