DILEMA is a bar on the Alameda de Hércules, the long promenade at the centre of Seville's LGBTQ+ nightlife. The crowd leans young and queer without being exclusively gay. Inside is small; the terrace on the promenade is what people come for. It opens at 1pm every day, so afternoons are for vermouth and tapas, and it stays open until 2am, or 3am on Friday and Saturday. Weekend nights are the busiest, when the terrace fills before people move on to the clubs. Expect to wait for a table on warm evenings. Google reviewers rate it 4.3 from more than 500 reviews.

Today's waiter was incredibly rude and unpleasant. He got the number of beers wrong, and when we politely and kindly refused to pay, he roughly threw the bottle to the side and then roughly threw our change at us. It's a shame because we're regulars and the rest of the staff is always fantastic.
