Belforno Restaurant

Belforno was a really nice surprise in the heart of Kaleiçi. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, especially in the evening, and the historic surroundings give the restaurant a lot of character. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and I particularly liked the Italian concept. It feels like a place where you can come for a proper dinner but also just sit back with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. A special mention to the staff as well — friendly, attentive and professional without constantly hovering around the table. Service felt natural and genuinely welcoming. Definitely a lovely spot for an evening in the Old Town. Good food, beautiful surroundings and a team that makes you want to come back. 🍝🍷

The pizza di Mare (₺1,250 Кальмар, креветки, мидии, томатный соус, руккола, пармезан, моцарелла. Самая насыщенная морепродуктами.) was delicious. We also ordered some red wine, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. There was live music, with songs that felt wonderfully familiar and close to my heart. The whole place had a calm, relaxed vibe and a very pleasant atmosphere. I love restaurants that have actual trees growing inside — it makes the space feel so much more beautiful and alive. At one point, the waiter accidentally broke our glass of wine, but he immediately brought us a replacement, which was very considerate. We sat inside rather than on the terrace, although I imagine the terrace is even more gardenish. A lovely touch I particularly loved was the mandarin-scented cologne by the restroom that smelled amazing.

A wonderful courtyard and friendly service. A great place to listen to music, chat, and enjoy fantastic cocktails. We'll definitely try their pizzas on our next visit.

A huge, sharp piece of plastic came out of the pizza. If I hadn't noticed it, it would have either gotten stuck in my mouth or I would have swallowed it.

I gave them 3 stars to the service because i see the majority of the staff was looks angery or not comfortable with asking them anout any thing..! Which is weird, i ordered water but she didn’t say any thing just left and bring it to me with very weird mood and face … then i said , thank you so much when she brought the water, she didn’t answer and left, the place looks luxurious and the food super super amazing so i felt bad about their staff

We had the eggplant pizza and Caesar salad. Both were delicious.

The atmosphere of the place is lovely, the food is delicious, and the staff are attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it ♥️🙏🏻

A truly excellent Italian restaurant! The pasta, pizza, and tiramisu were delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Pizza and rosé wine are amazing.

The service was good, they took care of us, thank you for that. But I'm sorry, I haven't eaten such tasteless pasta in a long time. Moreover, we chose pasta as our main course, and the fact that the main course was so bland only increased our disappointment. The pizza, however, was truly wonderful; it was baked in a beautiful oven, and the quality of the cheese was evident. But overall, in terms of price-performance, we left here with great disappointment and sadness. Considering the prices, we expected much higher performance. Also, unfortunately, the music started late. It was 7 PM when we finished our meal, and there was still no music. Therefore, we couldn't experience a musical atmosphere. As people who have visited many cities in Italy and had certain expectations regarding Italian cuisine, we were unfortunately seriously disappointed. It might be worth choosing again for the pizza, but especially the pasta served as the main course, and in terms of overall price-performance, it unfortunately did not meet our expectations.
