The honest summary: Brussels has two gay saunas left, Macho and Oasis. Older guides list five or six, but La Griffe and Club 3000 have closed, and the "Spades 4" that some sites file under Brussels is actually in Ghent. Both survivors are men only and both are central.
Macho Sauna
Macho Sauna is at Rue du Marché au Charbon 106, at the Fontainas end of the gay street. It opened in 1983, covers about 1,400 m² over several floors, and is the bigger and busier of the two, with heat rooms, steam, rest areas and cruising spaces. Listed hours are noon to midnight on weekdays and non-stop through the weekend, and it often opens early for the crowd coming out of La Démence. Google reviews average about 3.4 from more than 450, and the complaints are mostly about cleanliness and upkeep.
In autumn 2026 the Macho website showed only a "reopening" splash page while Google still showed normal opening hours. Check its social media or call before you go.
Oasis Sauna
Oasis Sauna is at Rue Van Orley 10, a short walk north-east of the centre. It describes itself as 100% men, opens every day from 11:30 to 22:00, and charges €28, or €23 after 19:00, for under-30s and on Wednesdays. That makes it an afternoon and early-evening sauna rather than a late-night one. It hosted the Bear Splash party for Belgium Bear Pride in September 2026. Google reviews average about 3.7 from over 300.

Closed or changed: gone but still Googled
- Sauna La Griffe (Rue de Dinant): closed, per Travel Gay.
- Club 3000 (Boulevard Jamar, Saint-Gilles): closed, per misterb&b. It was once the largest in the city.
- Sauna Spades 4: a Ghent sauna, now Spades4Gents. There is no Brussels branch.
- Sauna David and "Macho Man": no current source lists either. Ignore them.
- Towels and a locker come with entry at both. Bring flip-flops if you prefer your own.
- Busy times: Macho on weekend nights and after La Démence; Oasis in the afternoon and early evening.
- Free, anonymous HIV and STI testing is available at Ex Aequo, Rue des Grands Carmes 20-22, a few minutes from Macho.
- For a cruise bar rather than a sauna, Stammbar at Rue du Marché au Charbon 114 has a darkroom and is open most nights.
