Cabaret Poa

Cabaret Poa is a gay bar and cabaret on Rua Sete de Setembro in Porto Alegre's Centro Histórico. It mixes a bar with stage shows, mainly drag and cabaret performances, and draws a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd. With over 1,100 Google reviews, it is one of the better-known queer nights out in the city. It has no fixed listed hours, and shows and theme nights change from week to week, so check the Instagram account (@cabaretpoa) for the current programme. The historic centre can be quiet and less safe late at night, so take an app taxi to and from the door.

Well-organized space, excellent cultural standards and respect, amazing DJs, reasonably priced drinks, I love going. Cabarepoa is definitely worth it, I've been going for 5 years, I just want to point out the lack of response on social media, it disappeared from Instagram, but the place is great.
