Contramano is a gay restopub at Bombero Núñez 388, a combined restaurant and bar in Bellavista. This is Santiago's main nightlife area and home to most of its gay bars and clubs. The street is on the Recoleta side of the neighbourhood. Contramano is a relaxed place to eat and have drinks before moving on to the clubs nearby. Reviews are strong (4.5 from over 700 ratings). Opening hours aren't in our data. Santiago nights start late, with dinner after 9pm and clubs after midnight, so plan for that. Bellavista gets very busy at weekends, so keep an eye on your phone and wallet.

We were never served. We went for a themed night for a show that was beautiful, but they never served us, they just ignored us. A really bad experience.
