Santiago Pride (Marcha del Orgullo)

The Marcha del Orgullo is the biggest LGBTQ+ event in Chile. Movilh and Fundación Iguales call it on a Saturday in late June, and the march sets off from Plaza Baquedano along the Alameda towards Los Héroes. In 2026 it was held on 27 June, and the organisers counted more than 100,000 people. In 2025 it was brought forward to 21 June because of the primary elections and centred on the murder of Francisco Albornoz.

The 2027 date had not been announced at the time of writing; recent editions have fallen on the last or second-to-last Saturday of June. It's a free political march with demands on hate crimes and the Ley Zamudio as much as a celebration. Movilh also calls a second march, the Santiago Parade, in November.
