Colectivo Marcha del Orgullo LGTBIQ Arequipa

The Colectivo Marcha del Orgullo LGTBIQ Arequipa is a coalition of local activist groups that organises the city's annual Pride march, the Marcha del Orgullo. The march is usually held in late June in the historic centre. Member groups have included Red LGTB Arequipa and Feminas Arequipa, and the coalition also does visibility and rights campaigning. It has no office or drop-in hours. It works through social media, so follow its accounts for the march date and route and any related cultural events. Peru has no national anti-discrimination protections covering sexual orientation, and Arequipa is socially conservative.
