Meliá Lima is a gay-friendly mainstream hotel run by the Spanish Meliá chain, on Avenida Salaverry in San Isidro, Lima's business and embassy district. It is a full-service business hotel with restaurants, meeting rooms and the usual chain standards, and its large number of reviews rates it well. Miraflores and Barranco, where most of Lima's gay bars and clubs are, are a short taxi ride south. San Isidro itself is quiet at night, so plan transport for evenings out.
