Capital Pride (Fierté dans la Capitale)

Capital Pride / Fierté dans la Capitale is the non-profit that runs Ottawa's annual Pride festival, held in August. The festival runs for about a week, with a festival site and a parade that passes Parliament Hill and goes down Bank Street through the Village, Ottawa's gay district in Centretown. The organisation is bilingual and also runs community events outside Pride. It is an organiser, not a venue. Dates, the parade route and event listings are posted on capitalpride.ca each year. Book Ottawa hotels early if you plan to visit during Pride week.
