McKee Park is a public park on the Detroit River in Windsor's west end, near the Ambassador Bridge. It has a riverside walk, a boat launch, a large parking lot and quieter wooded stretches. It has an informal reputation as a cruising spot, reportedly busiest on warm afternoons and evenings. We haven't verified current activity. It is first of all a family park with a 4.4 Google rating from about 400 reviews. Canada protects LGBTQ people by law, but public-sex and indecency laws apply and police do patrol parks. Be discreet, keep to well-used areas and lock valuables out of sight in your car.

A quaint, lesser frequented park in Windsor’s west side nestled at the Detroit River terminus of Chewitt Street. The view of the Detroit River from here is heavily industrial, but the wildlife doesn’t pay heed.
