Encore

Encore was listed as a piano bar and lounge on Insurgentes in the Emiliano Zapata neighbourhood of Puerto Vallarta, the area also known as Zona Romántica. According to older listing data it had gay staff, a mixed crowd, live music and theatre shows, martinis, daily drink specials and outdoor seating. That made it a quieter alternative to the dance clubs a few blocks away. The data is old: just five Google reviews and a website on an entertainment-company domain. Puerto Vallarta's bar scene changes quickly, so confirm Encore is still open before planning a night around it. If not, the nearby streets around Olas Altas and Basilio Badillo have plenty of other gay bars.
