Caribe Hilton

So far enraged experience. Booked and paid for a King room, we got an email saying they switched us to two double beds. We got here and went to eat as room wasn’t ready and as eating got text at 2:30 room was ready. Went and got backs and they said supervisor needs to check room…it’s now 4:00 and room still not ready.

terrible customer service and unfriendly staff

The service from the hotel staff from the moment you arrive, the events (convention) you hold, the parties they throw, and the service they provide is spectacular.

I want to start off by saying that as soon as we arrived to the hotel, we were greeted and felt like we were VIP, everyone was extremely friendly and Emily, at the front desk, was extremely helpful. The room (at the Wave tower) was large and had an amazing view of the ocean, it left me stunned…to think I can just slide the door and watch the night sky and all of its stars as the waves crash down on its shore was such a bonus to our stay. The drinks were all great. The piña coladas were TOP TIER! The bar service was excellent and everyone was so responsive. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful and the service from everyone there was delightful; it made us feel welcoming and gave a sense of “home”.

The Caribe Hilton is in a great location near Old San Juan with lots of walking trails and gorgeous views. The service was also amazing! However, the room was a bit old and the fan in the bathroom and a couple lights weren't working. One sink was also clogged with hair and wouldn't drain. We loved the location and amenities but the room moved it down one star.

Please beware of extremely long wait for refunds for credit card hold for incidentals. It has been seven days and I yet to receive my refund . Hotel room need an update it was trash behind the tv where maids did not clean properly and the base of the bed needs replacing and carpet is needs replacing.

Beware! When checking in $100 a night will be added for incidentals. That’s not the problem, the problem is when you check out you will be waiting on a refund for up to 30 days. It took the hotel 10 seconds to take my money, but up to 30 days to refund me my money is absolutely ridiculous. Caribe Hilton please do better!

Very run down hotel. Maybe they gave us bad room because we booked thru Priceline. But the furniture was and abused and old , like motel from 90’s . There was mold and dirt buildup in corner. The hallways was very old . Very broke down. Definitely next time Candado area. Seem like Managememt just acts to sympathize but doesn’t do anything. Management don’t Reply a Fake response
