Roscoe's is one of the longest-running gay bars in Northalsted (Boystown), on the corner of Halsted and Roscoe streets. It has several rooms, including a front bar, a dancefloor at the back and a patio that is packed in summer. The crowd is mostly young and male. Drag shows and Drag Race viewing nights are regular events. It opens at 15:00 on weekdays and at noon at weekends, closing at 02:00, or 03:00 on Saturday. There is often a cover and a queue on Friday and Saturday nights. Most Boystown bars are within a block or two. Google reviewers rate it 4.4 from about 1,900 reviews.
