At the time we visited, the parking lot inside the park at the end of Turtle Creek Blvd was closed off to visitors probably due to maintenance/repairs. We saw cars parked along Turtle Creek Blvd clearly indicating that parking is not allowed. The park itself is nice and the Turtle Creek trail has nice stone work. But there was a strong urine smell where the trail goes under the overpass. That's pretty disgusting.
We loved this park! It had a playground for kids, a running trail, walking, biking, nature trails, and a creek. It did not feel like we were in the middle of the city while here. We went multiple days in a row and found something new each day!
This is a nice community park in Oak Lawn, Dallas. It connects with Katie trails. It is nice to walk or run along the park or just sit at the lawn and rest. There are many young people at the park during the weekend.
This is a beautiful, spacious park in Uptown Dallas. For adults it has lots of scenic trails with access to Katy trail. Great place to walk the dog too. For the little ones lots of playground equipment and bonus: it is COVERED! Nothing beats that in the Dallas heat! There are also basket ball courts. There is a baseball field as well although it is locked so really only open for scheduled games. There are clean porta potties in case you need to go. We are fortunate enough to live within walking distance but for others plenty of parking.
This is a really pretty park we usually take our little dog to walk. There’s a nice playground for kids there. It’s really really clean and there are trees if you are looking for a shady spot.
Lived in Dallas for several years and decided to visit the park. The area is big, clean and very family and pet friendly. There are gazebos for parties, trails for bike riding and a baseball field for organized sports. The area is perfectly situated along downtown Dallas. Worth a visit!
Nice inner city park with lots of trees, walkways, and flowing water. A good place to stroll. Visited an artist festival at this pretty venue.
Reverchon Park is a nature refuge close to downtown Dallas on Maple Street. Large Maple trees adorn the walking trails next to Turtle Creek. The refreshing creek is a tributary of the Trinity River. I love the bridge of stone crossing the running water. Steps of the same multicolored stone make a trail up the hill.
We stayed close by here when in Dallas. We took our 14 month old. Nice playground with area for younger and older kids. Nice shaded path to walk too. Very relaxing afternoon.
This is an awesome park in the middle of Dallas. We were here for Carry the Load and throughly enjoyed the day here. Trees galore, walking trails and playground for the kids. I loved this park.
This is a nice park, that leads to Katy Trail! It's safe there's multiple security staff within a five mile radius. The kids will love it and so will your pets!
One of the prettiest parks in Dallas
Best place for a morning run..parking is bug enough but need to go early on a Saturday morning. The vibe is pretty good
I was at an event so I didn't walk around the park but just the area that I was in, It was wonderful. Next time I visit, I would definitely have to walk around to see what else this park have to offer.
Although understanding an appropriate entry point was challenging, it was an absolutely beautiful walking trail- enough space for everyone to share lanes. I loved that it was interactive and engaging with restaurants along the way.
Reverchon Park has been a great part of our family since the early 1970's. Our parents used to take there. Back then a tall rocket 🚀 slide existed . It had (2) slides and of course the majority of kids would slide off the highest one cause of top velocity coming down. But everyone knew that during summer 🌞 time, one would get that burn from the aluminum slide coming time. Great experience growing 💗 up. Please take advantage of bringing your family to Reverchon Park, so you and your family may also have wonderful 😊 memories as we do. Enjoy life 🧬!
It was beautiful. I walked up the steps and was on the katy trail.
Go there after dark in the woods for the best experience
