Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach

Recently stayed here for five nights for a girls trip- and I am so pleased this is the hotel we chose. Location was wonderful, many restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance, plus the view from our room was absolutely incredible. Hotel is very well kept, from the lobby, to the pool, to even the bathrooms- it was beautiful. Staff was amazing in all aspects, but a special shot out to Andy in Steelpan- he was a great bartender! I hadn’t been to Florida in a few years- and our trip here was absolutely amazing. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We had an amazing stay with our family at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale in mid-September. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Edlet and Rosa, who were incredibly courteous, professional, and accommodating. Unfortunately, our trip got off to a difficult start when we experienced a major issue with our car and had to have it towed to the Land Rover dealership. It certainly wasn’t the way we had planned to begin our weekend getaway. Despite the unexpected situation, Edlet and Rosa went above and beyond to make things easier for us. They helped ensure that all of our belongings made it safely to our room and even arranged an upgrade to a larger room so that we could be more comfortable. At the time, my son was wheelchair-bound due to a fracture, and Edlet was especially helpful and attentive to his needs. The care, patience, and kindness shown by both Edlet and Rosa truly made a difference for our family. Their willingness to go the extra mile made an otherwise stressful situation much more manageable. I would highly recommend the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance of the beach and several excellent, kid-friendly restaurants. The property itself is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Most importantly, I would like to give special recognition to Edlet and Rosa for their outstanding attitudes and exceptional service. They genuinely made us feel cared for and welcomed, and their dedication to making sure our family was comfortable did not go unnoticed. Employees like them truly make a hotel stay memorable. Thank you, Edlet and Rosa, for going above and beyond. We truly appreciate everything you did for our family and look forward to staying at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale again!

We stayed here for a wedding and the views were amazing they are located across from the beach which gave us easy access. they provided beach towels and chairs which was great and in walking distance to stores and restaurants. The rooms were nice and cozy and the wedding location was surrounded by windows so you had a 360 degree view of everything. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed for seven days. The entire experience was exceptional. The hotel is located directly on the beach. It has a modern and elegant style. My room had an ocean view from the 9th floor. The room was furnished with a very nice office chair and desk, plus a lounge chair and king size bed. I slept well and was never disturbed. The bathroom has a sleek glass walk-in shower with overhead rain faucet. The room did lack a microwave, but I bought one and used it in the room with my minifridge. The front desk staff were available 24/7, though I rarely needed anything. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel has an outdoor pool with covered lounge chairs and a gym which I take advantage of. You can grab towels and water and take it across A1A to the beach. I slept late each day, but housekeeping always let me sleep and checked my room in the afternoon. The hotel was extremely clean. I had my trash changed and bathroom cleaned every day, with fresh sets of towels and linens provided daily. I never even saw a fruit fly in my room. I kept the AC between 70 and 75 throughout the afternoon and evening. The digital fan adjusted rapidly anytime I changed it. I used the valet service every day, sometimes twice. Every driver was professional and fast. My car was ready in 5 to 10 minutes. They never delayed. I would absolutely recommend Sonesta at Fort Lauderdale and I will stay again if I visit FL again. The price is worth the experience and the service. It made my entire trip comfortable and memorable. Sonesta provided a great place to return and review my day, and relax for the next day's itinerary.

Room cleaning seems to be more sporadic than at other hotels. We didn’t have our rooms made up most days until 3-4:30.

Our 20th wedding anniversary vow renewal at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach was magical! The beautiful ceremony and reception rooms and breathtaking ocean views left all of our guests breathless. Months and months of planning and coordination went into this celebration, and Emily Boitnott was exceptional throughout. Her responsiveness, patience, flexibility, and thoughtful guidance made such a difference. I could never have imagined the lengths Emily and the team would go to coordinate the details, solve challenges, and bring everything together with such elegance and warmth. With weather concerns prompting an indoor celebration, their support gave us tremendous peace of mind. The food was delicious, and Danny from the food and beverage management team was amazing! He and the entire staff were top notch, friendly, professional, and so welcoming. Their care made us and our loved ones feel truly special. Emily, Danny, and the Sonesta team, thank you for helping us celebrate 20 years of love in such an unforgettable way. You exceeded our expectations and gave us memories we will treasure forever. We wholeheartedly recommend Sonesta for a special celebration!

Ruben was the reason why we choose to stay in the area he explained how calm the day will be and it was no loud music.

Ruben is the best we really enjoyed our time in ft lauderdale the beach was great on Thursday. Ruben made our beach experience pleasant.
