Про це місце The Birdcage Cafe

The Birdcage Cafe is a mid-priced café-restaurant at 1250 Ocean Drive, in the Art Deco Carlyle building that played the drag club in the 1996 film The Birdcage. Hence the name. It is a mainstream gay-friendly restaurant facing Lummus Park and the beach, not a gay bar. Ocean Drive has a lot of tourist traps, so check the menu prices, drink sizes and any automatic service charge before you order. The 12th Street gay beach is right across the road, and the Washington Avenue bars are a couple of blocks inland.

Virginia was amazing! She was so friendly, attentive and professional, and she made us feel very welcome from the moment we sat down. Her recommendations were excellent and she made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The food and atmosphere were great, but Virginia’s service really made the experience stand out. She is definitely one of those servers who makes you want to come back! Highly recommended.
