The Mercury Hotel (ex-Beaconlight)

Mercury Hotel is in the perfect central location, offering daily housekeeping, free parking (subject to availability), ice water and coffee in lobby, daily Joe's coffee voucher, free WiFi, digital keys, and no-contact check-in. My partner and I booked a last-minute room for a July event week and were pleasantly surprised by this place.

Nice little room. However, the small shower definitely needed help. The shower head was not adjustable to a hard spray. The temperature adjustment is falling apart and couldn't hold a warm temperature. It kept moving to hot. There's no stopper in the small bathroom sink so you end up using a lot of water shaving. The pillows are very flat. For $350 a night they really need to improve things.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Mercury and are already looking forward to coming back! The hotel is beautifully styled—thoughtful, modern, and full of personality without feeling overdone. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to everything Provincetown has to offer, including our favorite morning stop at Joe Coffee. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay feel effortless. We also appreciated the vouchers, a thoughtful touch that made us feel especially welcome. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop deck. The views of Provincetown and the Pilgrim Monument are incredible, especially in the morning and at sunset. It quickly became our favorite place to relax and take in the town. Beautiful accommodations, fantastic location, great service, and unforgettable views. We can't recommend The Mercury highly enough and will absolutely be back. 🏳️‍🌈

If you’re looking for a unique gem in the heart of town, Mercury Hotel is it! The team is beyond friendly, and the room is the perfect place to end my days on vacation. Cannot wait to book this stay in the future!

This hotel is small, very nicely decorated and very clean. They use an app for the room key but also left a physical key in an envelope for us. We just got here a few hours ago so I can’t comment on the bed or pillow. Looks very inviting though!

This place was absolutely fantastic. Not only was it beautiful, but the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and it was probably the cleanest hotel bathroom I have ever used. It’s easy to check in using your phone and not only do you get room keys, but you get access to the rooms with your phone. It’s super convenient if you’re someone like me that always forgets the room key in the room. I stayed in room number eight with my friend, and the bed was very spacious, and after a long day out, it was great to go back to the room and just relax. I spoke with two people that worked for the hotel while I was there, Todd, and one other person both of them were absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t speak any more highly of them. It’s a very short distance from the main part of town, and everything was within walking distance. The only time we took our car out of their free parking was to go get dinner across the Cape, and to visit farther locations. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This was my first time staying here for the Carnival week. What a hidden gym. While the location itself is very quiet and cozy with a lovely rooftop deck, it is in close proximity to Mussel Beach Gym, The Gifford House, Brass Key, the Boatship and so many other shops. The staff was super friendly and available. Other hotels guests were friendly and social without the place being a "scene". Totally would stay here again.

My husband and I stay here every year for Labor Day, and we always have a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is consistently welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect—within walking distance of everything you could want. Best of all, the value for the money is unbeatable, which keeps us coming back year after year.

Highly recommend The Mercury!! Quaint, comfortable and welcoming boutique experience. This was our second stay at the Mercury Hotel during Carnival Week and we loved it both times. Todd was a fantastic host checking us in, showing some of the hotel’s features and helping us to our room. The roof deck, balconies and lobby are all comfortable places to hang out and it attracts a friendly clientele in its fresh, modern and fun design. The Mercury is only a few steps off of Commercial Street, but it’s somehow incredibly quiet and relaxed from all the activity in one of the busiest weeks of the year. By chance, I met a couple of the Mercury’s owners, Jillian & Jessica, who clearly take a lot of pride in their properties. Thank you to everyone at The Mercury!

What a special place! I almost don’t want to tell anyone about The Mercury because I want to keep staying there. BUT I have to say that the manager was so welcoming and knowledgeable and friendly that I had to write a review. The property is super stylish and the rooms are JUST what you want for a Provincetown weekend. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The standard king room is all that you need…but I can’t wait to try out a larger room on our next trip. Tens across the board!

Last few days at the Mercury hotel were great! Our room was always spotless along with the rest of the house. Todd was extremely welcoming to us upon arrival. Our favorite part was the rooftop decks! They were always clean and the couches and chairs were so comfortable, plus great views. We would 100% stay here again!
