La Reina is the mezcal and tequila bar inside El Rey Court, a restored motor court on Cerrillos Road. It focuses on Oaxacan agave spirits and natural wine in a relaxed Southwestern room, with courtyard seating in warm months. Every Monday it hosts Queer Night, an LGBTQ+-focused evening that supports the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico. Santa Fe has few dedicated gay bars, and its queer social life runs mostly through regular nights like this one. The Monday crowd is a mix of locals, hotel guests and visitors. Other nights it is a general cocktail bar.

Best drinks ever... Came for happy hour with coworkers and had tarot card readings offered. Everyone in our group enjoyed their drink but the Pho King was probably the best pleaser in the group. So refreshing and fragrant, it slowly crept up on you. Ambience is wonderful woth good people to enjoy talking and serene surroundings of the sleepy hotel vibe. Definitely be back again
