It was nice because we had a big room with a nice view of outside when we wanted to go get dinner just leave the building and the whole street is full of places to eat. The gym is really nice even though it's a little small but it works, and the breakfast is nice kind of typical breakfast but they had a bagel cutter which was so helpful. And by car we went to see a car show not too far and it's also close to a walmart.
Staff was great, room was not up to par this time. Phone didn't work, no lampshades on lights on either side of bed, right side of dark out curtain hard to open, all reported within first night/morning. Stayed from a Thursday night to a Monday morning this time. Nothing was fixed. Had to ask for the earplugs and I NEEDED THEM! WTH IS HAPPENING TO DOWNTOWN STROUDSBURG????? Who is running the police department that only three officer come, sit in vehicles, no fire or rescue vehicles to assist, one good hose letting loose would have dispersed that crowd, quickly. Anyway, that's not on Penn Stroud, THAT'S ON STROUDSBURG MAYOR, CHIEF OF POLICE, DA, POLICE DEPARTMENT, COUNCIL AND BOARD TO CLEAN UP THAT MESS
Honestly everything was great! The staff was so nice and welcoming! Will definitely be back there. It was my birthday and they made me feel special, 100% recommend.
Nice hotel right in the heart of lovely Stroudsburg
