Nairobi Serena Hotel

The Nairobi Serena is a five-star hotel set in Central Park, just off Processional Way on the edge of Nairobi's city centre. It is a mainstream luxury hotel listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. It holds a 4.7 average from more than 6,000 Google reviews, with gardens, a pool and several restaurants. Context matters in Kenya: same-sex sexual acts remain criminalised, and public displays of affection are best avoided. Large international-standard hotels like the Serena are generally the more discreet choice, and couples booking a shared room do so routinely. Use registered taxis or ride-hailing at night rather than walking, especially in the city centre.
