Metro Hotel Marlow Sydney Central

Hotel is in a good location. Walking distace from Central Station. Close to the Capital theatre, Paddy's Market and Chinatown and light rail.

Great location. Walking distance to Darling Harbour and just across the street from Capitol Theatre. The Chinatown lightrail station is very close if you want to explore further. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay with family

Older hotel but very nice. We were on the 12th floor and could still hear all the traffic. Wished the windows were double glazed. Other than that, great location for what we wanted and staff were very friendly

This hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from Central Station, and its convenient location is a major draw. However, I was somewhat disappointed with other aspects. As other reviews have noted, the building itself is quite old and generally lacks cleanliness. The bathrooms, in particular, had many issues; the bathtub had noticeable black stains even before use, so it didn't feel very clean. While Wi-Fi was available, the connection speed was extremely slow, frankly unusable. Also, the soundproofing was poor; I mistook knocking on the door of the next room for knocking on my own, and conversations in the hallway were relatively clear. The room size is about the same as a typical business hotel in Japan. Regarding the cost, considering the excellent location, I felt it was reasonable. Overall, aside from the location, I couldn't find any major attractions, and even if I had the opportunity to choose accommodation in Sydney again, I probably wouldn't use this hotel again.

Very well located, the rooms do not have windows for ventilation and the wifi does not reach the room.

Room has a strange smell. Telephone doesn't work. Room service not available at night. Great location.

- Excellent location for food lovers 🤪 Easy to find food, surrounded by delicious Thai, Chinese, and Western restaurants, cafes, and Chemist Warehouse. Easy walking distance to the train station and bus stops. - Friendly reception staff, attentive housekeeping staff cleaned the room every day (stayed 5 days). - The bathtub in the bathroom might be a bit old but it's clean. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the towels are large and thick. - The hotel fills up very quickly, so I recommend booking well in advance.
