Thank you for your hospitality during my 4-night stay. I was very happy to see sea turtles several times at the hotel's private beach. The staff were incredibly kind, so I highly recommend this hotel.

It was probably a bar; the music was incredibly loud at night, you could hear it even with the doors closed. It was still playing well past 10 pm.

We stayed at this hotel in a sea-view room for 10 nights with our child. We thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling at the private beach, where we could see tropical fish and sea turtles. The hotel's pond also had sea turtles and tropical fish, and our child enjoyed the evening feeding time. The breakfast and dinner buffets were fairly good. The location is excellent, and there are restaurants within walking distance, so if the weather is good, you could eat at a nearby restaurant. All the staff were friendly, and there were even some Japanese-speaking staff, which was reassuring. However, during our stay, the hotel was also being used as accommodation for US military personnel (who were there for work), and there were quite a few of them. Because regular guests and US soldiers were staying together, the US soldiers were noisy on Saturday nights, continuing until around 3 AM. We had to call the front desk multiple times to have them quiet down, and we hardly got any sleep. They were doing karaoke by the poolside until 9 PM, and I understand that it's a rare chance for the soldiers to relax after a long day at work, but the American soldiers were so noisy that I couldn't really relax. I was able to change rooms, but even then, having American soldiers on both sides and above me was still noisy. Also, there was a security box in the room, but it was easy to lift, so it wasn't very effective. Considering it's a Japanese-owned hotel and fairly expensive, I don't think I'll be returning unless they take some measures, such as separating the floors for the US military and the US military, or making the security boxes impossible to move. It's a shame because the view is lovely and the location is good.

Me and my partner had a fantastic week at Palau Royal Resort. The team were attentive to details and very helpful. The private beach and pool are a plus! 👋🏼
