G-Paradise

Terrible experience at G Paradise. We were required to pay for every single order, while we learned that guests of other nationalities were not asked to do the same. For example, Japanese and Australian customers were allowed to order drinks without immediate payment. This is a clear case of discriminatory treatment toward Southeast Asians. Because of this unfair practice, I will not be returning.

The tables and chairs were extremely worn! Just sitting on them left me covered in fiberglass. My skin was stinging and itchy, even down to my lower back. Almost ten of us were ruined, and even after showering and taping, the stinging persisted. After I complained, they only offered to let me know if I wanted to sit in another chair. The worst part is that after I got home, I found other reviews from a month ago where other customers had encountered the same problem. My suggestion is that if you're aware of this issue, replacing the tables and chairs would be the most practical solution.

Just stopped by for cocktails. They accept credit cards. Cocktails are reasonably priced. When you buy 2, you get a 3rd for free at 200TWD or top up the difference.

Very cozy

Cute and friendly staff. The snacks are delicious and good value. However, if you go too late, the kitchen closes, so only light bites like nuggets are available. The 2-for-1 cocktail deal costs around 10,000 won per glass. Smoking is allowed at tables, which is a plus for smokers. It's frequented by local youth groups, so it might be stressful for those who dislike loud atmospheres. This is my go-to place for my evening drinking tour whenever I'm in Taipei.
