Im Chiang Mai - SHA Extra Plus

I so enjoyed our time at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was always great, and the staff was amazing. The décor of the entire hotel I found charming. I loved the spirit tree and the birds who lived around it. The hotel is at a great location for visiting different places around Chiang Mai.

A rather old hotel with classic furnishings, very friendly service, and a great location. Air conditioning issues were compensated for with a voucher for the hotel restaurant, which serves truly delicious Thai cuisine. Breakfast is okay. Thank you.

This hotel is excellent! The location is fantastic. Just 100 meters from an entertainment center and night food market, right in the heart of the old city. Excellent facilities and friendly staff. The hotel is very nice and well-decorated. In short, highly recommended.

Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel rooms (but need some love). Beautiful decor and pool. Handy to the sights of Chiang Mai.

This hotel needs a makeover, or a full renovation that brings it up to date with modern hotel standards. The use of dark carved wood is overdone, I do appreciate that it is a certain Asian style, but it makes the hotel look dark and old-stylish. The absence of hot water in the morning did not help on the impression. Staff was nice and service minded. Its location and the pool area are the two greatest assets, but to realize its full potential something needs to change.

We stayed here for 2 weeks as a family of 4. A very nice hotel for the price and location. Friendly and helpfull staff, great breakfast, lovely pool, and a beautifull garden. Beds are hard (as they seem to be everywhere in Thailand). Our room was nice and comfortable, and so was the bathroom. The only real issue in this place, is the noise in the hotel. It is extremely noisy, and you can hear everything (walking outside, talking in other roms, doors being closed, drawers being opened and closed etc.) It is a lovely hotel overall, and we will most certaintly stay here again next time we visit Chiang Mai.

This hotel was in a good location with nice staff. It was in the old town of Chiang Mai so very walkable with a night market nearby. We also got free breakfast at the hotel.However I feel like it shouldn’t be a four star hotel. The shower would leak out water into the bathroom floors and the bed was also hard. Walls are also paper thin so you could easily hear noises coming from your neighbor. The room also had a weird and musty smell the day we arrived.

No elevator… Rooms are quite small… very clean and well located for the night market
