Đảo Ngọc Beach Hotel

The hotel is right on the beach, the rooms have beautiful views, and the staff are enthusiastic and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to do. There's a mini-mart nearby. The breakfast buffet is delicious and quite varied. I will definitely come back.

The hotel is right by the sea, with beautiful views. The staff are friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-equipped.

The buffet was small and not tasty. The hotel lost its towels and made guests bear the consequences. There were power outages 3-4 times a day. I will never return.

Why can't I reach the number I called to book a room?

I don’t want to leave. We had a great time here. The ocean view room was wonderful, the breakfast buffet really good with everything you could want for breaky. Lovely staff, patrons, everything. We swam in the pool all afternoon, and the ocean in the morning and evening. Close to fancy tourist restaurants and local cafes and restaurants in the backstreets. We found the best coffee and food in the back streets. Special mention to the front of house staff, Ben, Brian, Alice and Jennifer, beautiful people, helpful, friendly, I will miss you four most of all. Thank you. Hopefully we will come back one day

The best view room we had. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Shout out to Brian. The breakfast was incredible, so many options. The room was very spacious and modern. Surely we will comeback!

AVOID THIS HOTEL!!! I'll start with the main thing: a room with a beautiful view – THAT'S IT! There are no other positives! There are cockroaches in the room, the toilet didn't work, but they fixed it after numerous requests, the breakfast was okay, the location is terrible, surrounded by garbage and homeless people. And most importantly, THEY TRIED TO SCAM US AT THE HOTEL FOR 50,000 rubles! (15 million dong) We left after just one day, just running away. The story is below. The hotel supposedly offers motorbike rentals. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! We showed an international driver's license without a category permitting motorcycle driving and repeatedly told the staff that we needed a bike smaller than 50cc. They said okay and gave us a bike, but five minutes into the ride, the police stopped us and took us to the station. The bike was impounded because it turned out the hotel had DELIBERATELY issued a bike with more horsepower (160cc). It seemed fine, they'd draw up a violation report and let us go, it wasn't our fault. But then the hotel and the rental people started harassing us, demanding 15 million in cash. When we asked to show them where they got the money and where the actual bill for the fine was, they couldn't answer. It was obvious, it wasn't our fault. They threatened us and demanded money. I handed them 8 million (I roughly calculated the possible fine from the internet) so they'd just leave us alone. The next morning, they started calling us on the phone in our room, on our cell phone, then woke us up by knocking on the door. When we opened it, they asked us to go down to reception, then they returned the 8 million, saying we needed 15! 8 wouldn't do. I was so angry, we packed our things, rented a new place, and decided to move out of the hotel that evening because WE HAD NOT VIOLATED ANYTHING AND WE DIDN'T OWE ANYTHING. But the hotel staff wouldn't let us do it. They HAD KEPT US! BLOCKED THE EXIT! DID NOT GIVE US OUR SUITS! They yelled at the taxi driver not to take us. After an hour of cursing at them and asking them to show us an official document for the fine, they, of course, didn't show us anything. Result: we left in another taxi, and they only let us go after we threatened the tourist police. No one ever sent us a document for the actual fine. I don't know if this was their mistake or a scam, but the hotel definitely didn't behave properly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE! AVOID THIS PLACE if you don't want to lose your money and waste your nerves and energy on these idiots. The attached threats from the hotel and bike rental company were written to us after we left.
