Kašjuni Beach

Beautiful beach, very pretty, with lots of vegetation and lovely views; however, there isn't much shade and it gets quite crowded. I recommend bringing an umbrella. It's the best beach in Split.

The beach is large and beautiful, but unfortunately, it has few shady spots. There's also only one bar serving drinks; we paid almost €10 for a Coke and an iced tea, which is very overpriced (so there are no food options nearby or on the beach)! The best thing to do is not come by car. There aren't enough parking spaces for everyone, and what we often observed was that the towing companies are making a lot of money here. Cars are parked illegally everywhere, making it difficult for them to get through on the road. There is the option of taking the bus, but it takes a very long time because the entire street is littered with illegally parked cars, and the tow trucks come by regularly. The water was very clear, so you could easily spot sea urchins. The sea is covered with small pebbles at the beginning, which makes walking into the water very easy. However, you can't walk very far because there are so many sea urchins.

Spectacular beach, clear water, very quiet and pleasant. A unique experience, highly recommended.

Beautiful, easily accessible beach. Small pebbles – easily walkable even without water shoes. Unfortunately, there's little shade, so sunscreen is a must. Food and drinks are hard to come by – it's best to bring everything chilled yourself. There is a bar, but the prices are outrageous: €6 for a 0.3l beer, €75 for two sun loungers and a parasol per day. However, with a beach tent, cooler, two frozen water bottles as ice packs, plus chilled drinks and snacks, you'll have a great day. Parking tip: A small path leads off at the roundabout; there are usually shady parking spots there. It's a constant flow of people, so you can almost always find a spot.
