Hotel Stračena City

Excellent location right in the center, room, also with kitchenette. Very nice design. Everything is fine, just be careful in the shower: wet tiles are slippery - I would probably put a mat there.

They advertise as a hotel, but there is no reception desk or staff on-site. You just walk in and check yourself in. In my opinion, this functions much more like a self-service apartment than a true hotel. The elevator is very dodgy and would not work multiple times during my stay. Being up on the 5th floor, having to take the stairs at times when it wasn’t working was exhausting and unacceptable. room could have been cleaned a small bit better. Because it’s self-service, it would have been helpful if they at least left a sweeping brush or basic cleaning supplies in the room so I could tidy up myself, but there was nothing. The location was the best part of the hotel as it was in the centre of the city

We were very satisfied, the hotel or rather our room was beautiful, modern and cozy, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was also large. The hotel room had everything from a microwave, cutlery, dishes to a large refrigerator. It is right in the city center, so you can walk to OC Karolina in 10 minutes and the tram is about 4 minutes from the hotel on foot. The only thing I would try to consider in the future is replacing the elevator - it got stuck for a while with us three times :D but that is probably not up to the owner :)

Great hotel, facilities, location, breakfast - I'm looking forward to it again!
