Overall good experience with Czech Inn. Similar to other reviews, there is one small elevator for the whole building which means you might have to wait a bit to get in. Stayed in private room, main issue was smell (smelled like wet paint but was told that’s the normal smell of the rooms due to dampness/moisture). Lights to room entryway and bathroom are motion sensor, so sometimes the lights will turn off in the middle of showering. AC was not working and shower drain didn’t drain, but the staff was responsive in getting it taken care of the next day. Laundry machines are iffy (plan 2.5+ hours to get through one load). Great hostel to meet lots of people through events and common spaces. For the price, was a good stay.

Stayed in new "pod" room where there was a very strong smell on chemical. Sewer smell in the women bathroom too.

Stayed in a pod for 8 nights in May and had an overall great experience! The reception is always staffed, and with close proximity to the Krymská tram stop, getting into the city center is a breeze. Rooms were clean, surprisingly quiet, and staff were very friendly, the pod was well ventilated with options to adjust fan speed, good lighting inside the pods, and 2x wall plugs plus USB-A and USB-C outlets for charging. There is a proper ATM inside the reception area that offers cash withdrawal starting from 200 Kč and up. Unlike many ATMs in Prague, this one was *not* a Euronet ATM (never use a Euronet ATM!!), and I was not charged any fees by the operating bank at all to use it. A couple of negatives; one is that the shower temperature seemed to be very unstable - turning the knob doesn't seem to do much, the water can be a little too cold, 15 seconds later it is boiling hot, and 30 seconds after that, it's almost an icy slush. Another downside; the facility has only a single elevator and only emergency stairs, so very often you'll end up waiting for several minutes for the elevator to arrive, and it will often be quite full. Please note that the hotel is not wheelchair accessible. Inside the reception you need to go up a few stairs before you get to where the elevator is.

It was great value for money. I stayed in a premium female dorm, it was clean and calm. I was just wondering that it might be a bit busy when the rooms are full, because there was just one bathroom for 6 or 7 women. Fortunately, we were just three during my stay.

Service was nearly perfect, lots of vouchers and presents. Lift was old and small. Basically a Human Zoo inside with other Guests
