Premiered at Institut français Firenze in Italy, MANUS takes listeners on a thought-provoking journey across five philosophical movements: exploring the hidden language of hands through the lens of Julia Kristeva, Walter Benjamin, Jacques Derrida, Byung-Chul Han, and Alain de Botton. In this special Tallinn performance, held in the historic Peeter Süda Hall of the Estonian Theatre and Music Museum, the repertoire moves fluidly through lied, chanson, jazz, musical theatre, and rock across multiple European languages. Throughout the evening, the audience is gradually invited into the piece through simple rhythmic gestures and live body music, becoming an integral part of the sonic and physical landscape. Artist Biographies: Seren Akyoldaş (Soprano & Concept Developer) : Soprano, researcher, and performance creator with over 500 performances across 24 countries, bridging opera, lied, jazz, and musical theatre. Emre Oktayoğlu (Tenor) : Tenor, pianist, and arranger who has performed with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and composed for numerous documentary films. Rûbar Dindar (Piano & Sound) : Pianist, producer, and audio engineer holding a Master's from ITU MIAM, collaborating with leading artists across diverse genres.
