Outstanding tasty lunch

First visit to a highly praised restaurant. The table was already reserved, which was good, because despite it being a Wednesday night, there was a good crowd. The acoustics of the place could be improved, because if there are even a little more people, you shouldn't be prepared to chat with your dining partner. The tables are close together, and at least in the cabinet there were not many elements that limit sound and echo. However, the general appearance of the place was clean and cozy, the original elements of the old building have been preserved and combined with more modern features. A small glass jar filled with dried flowers as a table number was a nice personal detail. The food was quite good, I ordered a chili burger, regular fries and classic mayonnaise. As a positive surprise, the hamburger had chili in more than just the name. My expectations were high, though, so I can't understand others who praise the place's burgers as the best in Oulu. The fries were a bit disappointing, I expected them to be crispier. The plus was that they were clearly cut from real potatoes, and not sticks shaped from mashed potatoes, but the texture was a bit mushy, as if the fries had been the first thing prepared for the dish, and had had time to soften on the plate for a few minutes. However, the fries were well seasoned, and the classic mayonnaise was really tasty. The portion size was also good for the price, there was plenty to eat in a couple of dozen portions, and I definitely didn't leave hungry. Overall, I wouldn't call the place terrible, at most overrated, but it could be that my expectations were just too high based on the reviews.
