A classic hotel with nice charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is great for exploring the city. Everything works smoothly, making for a pleasant overall stay.

We came to celebrate a private event as a couple and were very disappointed. However, the young man at reception on April 30, 2026, was understanding: room 112, which we strongly advise against, has a view of dilapidated balconies, a faint odor inside, and faded yellow decor with thick black carpeting. He gave us room 108, which was slightly better. But there were no extra pillows besides the two already on the bed. We were provided with two coffee capsules, one tea bag, and two small sugar cubes—all for two people. The bathroom was adequate. The minibar was empty. This is not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The hotel's decor is very dreary; there were no newspapers as advertised, no flowers, and the lobby was very dark. It cost €170 per night without breakfast, plus €25 for public parking. We didn't have breakfast because we had read bad reviews mentioning a €20 breakfast. In short, we advise against paying for the room before arrival...

Very disappointed: we booked for the May 1st weekend, 2026. The hotel was not up to 4-star standards at €170 per night without breakfast (breakfast is €20 per person) plus €25 for public parking 400 meters away. The minibar was empty, and we had two poor pillows for the night, with no extra pillows in the wardrobe. Upon arrival, we were given room 112, which we asked to see before taking it: the balcony overlooked a collection of dilapidated, leaking roofs, there was a faint smell, and the decor was an ugly, faded yellow. It was far from the dream weekend we were hoping for to celebrate a personal event! The receptionist understood our distress: "You paid in advance, you can't get a refund," but he found us room 108, which was much better. But: thick, dark carpet in room 108, dirty, I walked barefoot and got dirt all over the shower floor... we didn't have breakfast because I'd read bad reviews. The day before, we bought brioches at the nearby Monoprix. Everything is stingy in this hotel: one tea bag for two people and only two coffee capsules. I bought Nescafé at Monoprix. This is NOT a 4-star hotel; it's misleading consumers. What is ATOUT FRANCE doing? Apart from that, the young man at reception was charming and understanding. The overall decor of the hotel is really dreary, dark and black, no flowers anywhere, unlike in the photos on some websites. My advice: go for a much more charming 3-star hotel.

Perfect hotel in the perfect position for a perfect stay in stunning Montpellier. The hotel and the rooms are fabulous, very comfortable with excellent facilities and the customer service is exceptional. Hotel well located on Place de la Comédie. Courteous and helpful staff. Beautiful interior decor, cozy atmosphere. I recommend it.

Excellent location, room size and breakfast.

We stayed two nights. The room was magnificent, and the location was perfect, just a minute from Plaza de la Comedia. The receptionist who greeted us was incredibly attentive. We loved it!
