Bull

So, when I read negative reviews about the staff, especially from tourists who always bring up racism, I sometimes wonder why that's always the first thing they mention and if they don't just act strangely themselves. My best friend, who's Black, and I, a European, never had any problems with any of the staff there. On the contrary, especially for Berlin, where things can get a bit rough, everyone from the cloakroom to the bar was always friendly to me, and you can easily chat with the attendants next to the cloakroom. There aren't many complicated rules: go in whenever you want, leave your things at the cloakroom, pay for it, buy yourself a drink, and then you can do whatever you want and stay as long as you like. I have absolutely nothing to criticize about the team. Maybe it's simply a case of reaping what you sow... I always felt welcome, anyway. My only criticism is that people smoke an excessive amount, especially in the darkroom at the back. For me, as a non-smoker, it's pretty intense, especially when you're having fun in the Sling and there are tons of people around you lighting up one cigarette after another and smoking right in your face. That's why I only come occasionally, not all the time, but that's just a personal preference. Anyway, Bull is part of Berlin, and we can be glad to have such a relaxed 24/7 place.

Great bar with a cruising darkroom. Very busy ans lots of action. Superfriendly staff. I tried German. Failed, but English no problem.

​Coat Check: There is a managed area to hang jackets or store bags for €1.50. ​Security: The staff is super friendly but thorough. They’ll check inside your bag before storing it—totally understandable for everyone’s safety. ​ ​The Vibe The bar area is the perfect "chilling zone." It’s filled with people chatting, drinking, and "recovering"—and you’ll definitely need that recovery time once you step into the main event of the Bar. You must order a drink before proceeding to the rest of the bar. The back area is where the action is. It’s a fascinating mix of people from all over the world. They have multiple slings and seating areas designed for spectating. The gloryhole wall needs a bit of improvement. As of now it's just a partition between the two areas at the back of the Bar. ​Atmosphere: The lighting is dim but effective. The first section is visible enough to see everything; further in, it gets darker and you can still make out faces and silhouettes. ​The Crowd: A great, diverse mix of people dressing up in gears, ages, and sizes. Very "anything goes" and high energy. People smoke throughout the venue, but honestly, that’s just part of the raw, authentic Bull Berlin vibe. Good vibes, great crowd. I’ll definitely be returning. While Bull is generally welcoming, going in "gear" usually adds to the experience.

When I just arrive the guy in the jacked was so kind and then the manager approach to me and force me in auch a bad way (like an obligation to buy a drink ) of course I want to drink something but his way was racist and unkind I can give. Start because I can’t give less. Don’t go to this sick place

Best cruising bar in Berlin for sure.

I'm visiting from Düsseldorf and was there for the first time this afternoon. Wow, what an awesome place! I'll definitely be back. Absolutely fantastic!!! The staff are super friendly, it's been cleaned several times, and the people are hot. Simply amazing!!!

I've read several negative reviews about the staff, but I disagree. I've only recently started frequenting this bar, but I go often and enjoy it, and I've always found the staff helpful and never as arrogant as described. It's one of the few bars that has retained the feel of old Berlin. Great for a beer with friends or even alone and for a bit of fun. Update April 2026: Unfortunately, after tonight's experience, I feel compelled to update my review. After months of not being there, I unfortunately haven't found the Bull of old. The atmosphere was very dirty, with drunk customers staggering around the room, some on drugs, and others urinating directly in the darkroom. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes, I had to leave. The staff, however, remains friendly and welcoming.
