Krumme Lanke is a long, narrow forest lake in Berlin's Zehlendorf district, on the southern edge of the Grunewald. A path loops the whole shore, and along the western side there is an unofficial nudist (FKK) area that is popular with gay men on warm days. There are no facilities at that section: no lifeguards, kiosks or toilets, just small clearings, meadows and lake access. The U3 terminus Krumme Lanke is a 10-minute walk from the lake. Bring water, a towel and a bag for your rubbish. This is a public park used by families and dog walkers too, so keep things discreet away from the nude area.

This is a lakeside spot perfect for a cool break during the summer. It is excellent for swimming, especially with the nearby Lake Schlachten right next door. The walking paths are also well-maintained, so if you are in Berlin, be sure to visit at least once.
