Mercure Hotel Berlin Zentrum

Good location. Room pictures are misleading. It’s very dark, cramped, they don’t even make the beds. The bathroom was dark just flowing orange/yellow bulb and a very noisy extractor fan which would have kept me awake if I stayed. I was charged €248 euros booking direct to stay here. I saw my room and left. The real price was under €100 euros. Of that’s what I paid I would have accepted the awful room, but not when I paid the same that 4* hotels with swimming pools in the area were charging that night. It’s like a sleezy motel, which is fine if that’s what you are looking for. Hotel and Accor/Mercure customer services were unhelpful and refused to refund. Terms and contains make to pay but don’t make them supply a quality hotel room. Awful company. There was also and box with tv electrics hanging off the wall. Also I did the online check in via the app, but still had to fill in all the alters and do manual check in on arrival.

I was there for two days on business. The room on the 6th floor was quiet and clean. The bathroom is a bit small but fully functional. The breakfast was also good and plentiful. The staff was particularly friendly. There is also a parking lot via the adjacent courtyard, although it's not directly connected to the building and you have to access it from the outside. For the price, I would book this hotel again.

I was given a room where the light and ventilation didn't work; only after two days did I get an Andreas room.

A three-night stay at this very well-located hotel. Room 601 was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with a lovely view of the neighborhood. Breakfast was adequate, a little below Mercure standards, but not a major issue. The staff were always friendly and helpful. A good place to stay.

The price doesn't feel fair for the service provided, and the rooms feel very noisy to me.

The hotel's location is fantastic. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit dated, and also very cramped and small. For example, there was no wardrobe. The bathroom was also very cramped, and the shower entrance was very narrow. The shower screen was far too short, so the entire bathroom floor was flooded. We can't comment on the service; the reception staff were friendly, but we didn't use room service. (You have to request room cleaning at reception.) We booked without breakfast because there are nice cafes nearby. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and tidy, and we will definitely stay there again and try it out. The price was right for three nights and was under €300; I wouldn't pay more for this hotel.

The hotel is clean and quiet, basically a no-frills hotel. It is located between the U-Bahn Wittenbergplatz and Nollendorfplatz, 10 minutes walking each.
