Numa Bona

I usually really like using Numa hotels, as they generally offer good value for money and the rooms are sufficiently comfortable. However, the Numa Bona in Bonn disappointed me. It feels like a poorly run youth hostel; the location is quite remote and not very inviting. And when my door code didn't work, it took quite a while before I received help. I would have made myself a coffee downstairs in the lounge next to the laundry room, but without cups, that's really difficult. This Numa is also quite noisy.

Hotel without staff, breakfast, or gym. However, you get good value for money in return. The hotel is located on a busy road with a lot of traffic. Because of this, you cannot leave the windows open at night due to the excessive noise. However, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes directly to the city. The Smart TV is much smaller than advertised on the website (see photo). The kitchen is modern with coffee and tea facilities. WiFi is fast and reliable. The shower maintains a good temperature.

I cannot recommend this hotel. The elevator was constantly out of order, we were on the 4th floor, and carrying our luggage up was extremely difficult. The garage door was so hard to open that I almost dislocated my shoulder. The hotel is very noisy; if someone was in the room above, you could hear every step and every shout, making a restful sleep impossible. Be careful that the cleaning staff don't take you into the reception area. I had a mattress topper with me because of back problems, and the cleaning staff reported that I had brought a mattress and that a stranger had been in my room. Keep an eye on what they bring and what they do. I had a lot of trouble afterward and was labeled as unprofessional.

Self check in hotel without personal - everything worked out fine; rooms of comfortable size with reasonably equipped kitchenette. Excellent beds and spacy bathroom, supermarket and bus stations nearby.

I enjoy spending my stays in this very comfortable and pleasant hotel.
