A space where nice people work, things usually go very quickly and you get good advice :) The only thing that bothers me, because it's happened several times now, is that when I asked if we could be tested for chlamydia, several consultants said, "If you don't want children, you don't need to be tested for it." I find that irresponsible because regardless of whether I want children or not, I could still transmit chlamydia if I had it, and I don't understand why they always subtly try to discourage me from getting tested?

It couldn't be more centrally located; the testing center is right next to the Heumarkt train station. The welcome here is so friendly—I've rarely experienced anything like it. The competent team works quickly and is very attentive and kind. Didier gave me so much new information that I hadn't known before. I can only recommend this testing center to anyone looking for one, and I will definitely recommend it to others! Many thanks to the whole team!

I had a very positive experience with Checkpoint Cologne. I got an appointment online in the morning for the evening, and when I arrived early, it was no problem. As I overheard, this was also the case for other people who were confused with their appointments or didn't have an appointment at all. All the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable; there was no sense of being rushed through. You enter through the entrance on Pipinstraße, on the second floor, and it's well signposted. The friendly receptionist is directly to the left and provides helpful information. You're given a tablet and fill out a questionnaire using your anonymous (!) data. The questionnaire is very self-explanatory. You can do this in a spacious waiting room located opposite the entrance, in complete peace and quiet. After completing the questionnaire, you return the tablet to the receptionist, and everything else runs smoothly. Your assigned number is called, and you go to another room for your consultation. This time is just for you. You'll receive personalized attention, professional support, and if you wish, we can even discuss things outside the topic, depending on what's on your mind. The consultant will lead you to a room where someone else will attend to you again, if you wish. The necessary preparations for the requested tests will be made, and the tests will be administered. There, you'll find out how long it will take, whether you'd like to wait, or if you'd prefer to access the results anonymously on the website the following day. You're always completely free to choose. No pressure, no expectations, no judgment. I then went back to the reception desk to pay my share of the costs. I have no idea how much something like this would cost in a doctor's office, but I felt safe and was able to completely anonymously dispel (or confirm, as you prefer) my doubts with a relatively small payment. ``` I waited in the reception area for my results. After the allotted time, my code was called again, and I went to a room for the presentation, just for the consultant and me. This was for further optional consultations. I felt well taken care of.
