Coffee Fellows Hotel Dortmund

In city center, easy check-in and out, delucious breakfast

Simple rooms, very limited service.

The hotel and café are located right in the city center. There's also an underground parking garage a 2-minute walk from the hotel (day ticket €14) if you're arriving by car. The entrance is through the café, with the reception at the far end. The room is small and charming, perfect for a city break. There's plenty of storage space, as well as shower gel and a hairdryer. Breakfast offers a small standard selection with rolls (plain and wholegrain), cold cuts and cheese, boiled eggs, muesli, and yogurt. A selection of juices is also available. You can use the coffee machine or order from the café's breakfast menu (included). Two complimentary bottles of water (still and sparkling) are also provided in the room.

A decent hotel in the city center. Breakfast was okay, although the café, which also serves a commercial purpose, was quite crowded. We could only sit on stools. The service seemed geared more towards the commercial clientele and a bit irritated, especially when we asked for a coffee from the espresso machine. The coffee tasted rather watered down 🤷🏻‍♂️ That's something you could work on, otherwise it was fine.

Five unsuccessful calls today, without reaching anyone except an answering machine, have clearly demonstrated that they have no interest in us or our booking. An unwitting call back from Munich an hour later changes nothing. Service is clearly a foreign concept to some hotels!

Located right in the city center, the Coffee Fellows Hotel is a great starting point for exploring Dortmund's heart. The rooms are functional and comfortable. The breakfast offers something for everyone. Vegetarians and vegans will also find plenty to enjoy. There's fruit, vegetables, spreads, juices, various types of hard and soft cheeses, as well as ham and sausage, a variety of muesli options, yogurts, and many organic products. A fantastic breakfast!

It was my first solo trip. I was thrilled when I arrived. The hotel perfectly matched the pictures on Booking.com. The room was very modern and well-equipped. There was plenty of space to spread out my suitcase and move around comfortably. The bathroom was bright and very modern – nicer than my own at home! :( The service was also very attentive and friendly. I was allowed to drop off my suitcase in the morning on my arrival day and leave it with them on my departure day so I could do some shopping. The hotel is located right in the city center, making it easily accessible from anywhere. The subway also provides quick access to the outer districts of Dortmund. I felt very comfortable and will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit.

Super clean and well-equipped rooms. Good value for money. Located right in the city center and within walking distance of the train station.
